Required Skills:

• Current New York State RN license with active registration
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) with ability to recertify
• Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience within the past 2 years in an acute care hospital setting of comparable size or trauma level
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, preferably EPIC
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Clear professional record with no suspensions, investigations, or claims related to professional practice
• Verification of legal right to work in the U.S.
• Successful passing of pre-employment health clearance and background checks
• Compliance with drug screening requirements

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in hospital utilization review or clinical documentation improvement
• Prior experience with hospital case management protocols
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
• At least 2 years of recent hospital-based nursing experience in case management, utilization review, or CDI roles

Other Requirements:

• This position is for day shift only with an 8-hour work schedule
• Must be willing to participate in ongoing professional development and team collaborations
• Travel is not required for this role
