Nurse Educator - Out Patient Clinics

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION

The incumbent is responsible in collaboration with MA Training Coordinators for developing and coordinating up-to-date in-service classes for existing registered nurses, medical assistants and outpatient clinical staff related to all competency-based clinical skills. This includes maintaining an up-to-date and published calendar of detailed new employee training schedules, in-service classes and competency assessments to all registered nurses, medical assistants, clinical staff and their supervisors/managers within Outpatient Clinics.

This position will assist MA Training Coordinators with the MA Trainee program, including reviewing candidates, program coordination, creating and maintaining curriculum to support the successful complete of program to become a Medical Assistant. This position does provide patient care.
