Senior Federal Data Engineer

Salary: $66,000 - 106,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a candidate with at least three years of technical data engineering experience; experience in U.S. federal government consulting is preferred.
• We require a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• We need hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• We value experience in data quality management, including validating, cleansing, and handling errors to maintain integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• We expect familiarity with ETL processes and tools for data ingestion, integration, and transformation.
• We seek expertise with modern development practices and tools, including Agile, Git, test-driven development, and CI/CD release management.
• We want a proven ability to rapidly ingest, transform, engineer, and visualize data.
• We require the ability to travel as needed to support client engagements.
• Applicants must hold a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

• We use data wrangling tools and programming languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL to uncover insights through analytics.
• We support technical work from concept through delivery by researching, experimenting, and applying data methods to build pipelines and scalable analytical tools using leading technologies.
• We conduct regular peer code reviews to maintain high code quality and provide clear documentation and operational guidance for users.
• We perform essential data operations for analysis, including cleansing, integration, and transformation.
• We develop data engineering designs and help bridge communication between business and technical stakeholders.
• We monitor the performance and reliability of data systems, resolve issues, and proactively improve logic and model performance through tuning, streamlining, and resource optimization.
