Principal Database Engineer

Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Poly (must be active)

We're looking for a Principal Database Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This role supports database operations, system sustainment, and data reliability for secure, mission-critical environments.

In this role, you'll contribute across the engineering lifecycle—from design and development through integration, testing, production support, and sustainment.

What You'll Do:

Support database operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Respond to database-related work requests and integration needs
Maintain schema, design, and support documentation
Partner with system maintainers and engineering teams
Help improve reliability, performance, and operational readiness

What We're Looking For:

Respond to all database related work requests, including working with system maintainers, system engineering analysis, and integration efforts
Maintain and update design and database schema documentation. The work environment fluctuates between routine and urgent, depending on ongoing tasks, priorities, and performance of assigned systems

Additional Details:

Onsite role in Aurora, CO
U.S. Citizenship required
