What You'll Do
- Provide total patient care in a combined ER/Med Surg setting within a critical access hospital
- Perform IV starts, EKG, medication passes, and glucose checks
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Document patient care using CPSI charting system
- Monitor and respond to patient needs during 12-hour night shifts
- Collaborate with a small, versatile team in a fast-paced environment
- Support weekend rotations and potentially accommodate block scheduling
What You Need
Required:- RN license in Texas or as otherwise eligible
- Minimum of 2 years experience in ER and Med Surg nursing
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong IV skills, EKG interpretation, and patient care abilities
- Experience working in critical access or similar small hospital settings
- Ability to work flexible or block schedules
About the Assignment This contract is based in a leading healthcare facility in Quanah, TX, where nurses share responsibilities across ER and Med Surg units due to the small size of the facility.
