Job Summary – Correctional Health The Radiology Technician (x-ray technologist or radiographer) is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of all x-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes. Minimum Qualification Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure Requirements Graduate of a JRCERT accredited program. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Valid MRT license by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) required. Current CPR certification. Communication Skills Above average verbal communication (heavy public contact). Writing and composing reports. Job Attributes Knowledge of analytical, CRT, and medical terms. Work Schedule Flexible.
