Administrative Assistant

Adecco is assisting in the search for an organized Administrative Assistant in Frankfort, KY. This is a long-term opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. The ideal candidate can multi-task, has excellent computer skill, and has exceptional time management skills. This is a 1st shift opportunity, with pay ranging $14-$21 an hr. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities for this Administrative Assistant position include but are not limited to: Interprets and applies laws, rules, regulations and policies applicable to the administration of agency programs- Transfer information from system-to-system accurately Located and attached appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies Reviews proposed state and federal legislative or administrative regulation changes to determine the need for policy and procedure changes Monitors organizational unit budget status and makes recommendations to superiors in terms of internal adjustments necessary to stay within the budget Contacts field personnel by phone, in writing or in person to resolve inconsistencies or inaccuracies in records and/or reports. Drafts correspondence or other responses for administrators, legislators, attorneys, clients and/or the general public which require the interpretation and application of policies and procedures Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management and other applications. Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material Qualifications for this Administrative Assistant position include: Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of professional, administrative, or business experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) Self-motivated Excellent computer skills Excellent attendance record Polite phone manner Adecco provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry to contract workers.
