Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel OR Registered Nurse (RN) for a day-shift operating room assignment. The successful candidate will support a variety of surgical specialties while delivering exceptional perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective perioperative nursing care.
• Perform preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative responsibilities.
• Ensure proper surgical room setup and sterile field maintenance.
• Assist the surgical team throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient status and maintain patient safety standards.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow facility policies, quality standards, and infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Active California RN License required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Current NIHSS Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience .
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
• Experience in:
  • Trauma Surgery
  • Robotic Surgery
  • Orthopedic Surgery
• Skills checklist required with submission.
