Weekend Field Nurse Nursing

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 7:00am - 11:00pm

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• RN Nursing Diploma or Degree from accredited School of Nursing or University
• Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail, elderly, or long-term care population
• Minimum of one year home care experience preferred
• Minimum of one year wound care experience preferred
• Current CPR certification by AHA or willingness to obtain

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct participant assessments to determine appropriate levels of care.
• Respond promptly to communications from primary care providers and support staff.
• Perform regular field visits to deliver essential nursing care, including wound care and health assessments.
• Document interactions, initiate emergency treatments as needed, and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate participants, families, and caregivers about care plans and treatments.
• Collaborate with providers and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive participant support.
