Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities aimed at improving the mental health and overall well-being of your clients. Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the diverse mental health needs of your clients, along with developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Utilizing an array of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the unique preferences and requirements of each patient.
  • Maintaining meticulous and timely clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance across all interactions and documentation.
  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, comprising psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
  • Participating in regular case consultations, continuous education, and peer review meetings to enhance treatment strategies and overall care quality.
  • Providing educational resources and supportive guidance to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources.
  • Remaining up-to-date with advancements in the mental health sector, integrating the latest research findings into clinical practice for enhanced patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with individuals receiving hospice care, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues that often arise in end-of-life scenarios. This includes managing anxiety, depression, and grief while empowering patients and their families through compassionate care practices and through difficult transitions.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid LCSW licensure in the state of New York, enabling you to practice independently.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience with a proven track record in delivering psychotherapy services.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic techniques and interventions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, allowing you to navigate complex client situations effectively.
  • An ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while delivering effective individualized care.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working within hospice or palliative care settings.
  • Familiarity with telehealth tools and practices to enhance client engagement.
  • Training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities relevant to grief and loss counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this role is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
