Job Summary:
The Home Healthcare Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a home health setting. Candidates are required to bring their Oregon or Washington licensure on the first day of assignment. The position begins as soon as possible, with scheduled shifts during the day, and involves completing a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Portland, OR
• Shift: 8-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: One year of skilled home health experience in adult home health, with certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS). Candidates must hold current Oregon and Washington licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting system Epic, and knowledge of adult home health procedures such as admission assessment, wound care, medication management, and IV therapy.
• Additional Information:
  • The role involves performing patient assessments and procedures such as start of care, discharge or reconfirmation, recertification, routine visits, wound care, medication assessments, pain management utilizing pain scales, starting and maintaining IVs, and phlebotomy.
  • The home health RN must adhere to infection control precautions and patient safety protocols.
  • The position requires a commitment to safety and quality, with documentation performed via the Epic system on a laptop and Rover app on a phone.
  • Candidates must be able to travel within a roughly 60-mile radius, with occasional drive times of 60-90 minutes.
  • The traveler is expected to have their own transportation and be vaccinated for COVID-19, including a booster.
  • Two references covering at least one year (six months for CNAs) in the last three years are required prior to start.
