EMT or Paramedic (PRN)

Job Overview Medcor is hiring an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Omaha, Nebraska . Hours are as needed Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am‑5:00 pm with no guaranteed hours. Applicants should be comfortable working in a construction environment, able to climb stairs and work at heights as needed. Responsibilities Collaborate with Medcor medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Provide patient care, manage ongoing workers’ compensation cases, facilitate Return to Work (RTW) programs, and monitor treatment plans. Typical Day Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic. Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols). Build and maintain internal team relationships. Support on‑site employee health and wellness efforts. Perform pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Document care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools. Conduct Physical Assessment Testing (PATs). Manage case documentation and medical charting. Maintain OSHA record‑keeping. Requirements Valid licensure as EMT or Paramedic in the state of application. Current CPR/BLS certification. Physical ability to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive, outgoing personality and passion for patient care. Preferred Qualifications Comfortable working in a construction environment. Proficiency with computers and familiarity with EMR software. Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
