KO703 - Full-Time Nanny - Dix Hills, Long Island

Overview

A busy family of four living in Dix Hills, Long Island i is looking for a new Nanny to join their home. The family has two young children and is looking for someone who is collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working as part of a team alongside mom. The role is Monday through Friday ideally from 7 am until 7 pm but can be less hours for the right person. The role can be live-in or live-out depending on the candidates preference. The family is looking for someone who seamlessly blends excellent childcare with household support.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for two young children (toddler and infant) while working along side mom
• Help with scheduling classes, play-dates, outings
• Maintain structured routines, including sleep schedules and daily activities
• Maintain organization of children’s spaces, including toys, books, and clothing.
• Assist with meal preparation for the children and family meals.
• Offer household support, including family laundry, tidying and general organization.
• Collaborate seamlessly with parents 

• Ability to problem solve throughout the day when needed- the parents do not want to micromanage

Qualifications

• Strong instincts and a “no job too small” mindset 
• Someone warm, reliable, and highly capable
• An ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple children and working closely with mom as needed. 

• Strong communicator with the ability to be solution oriented and research new methods or techniques when needed

• Must be willing and able to cook

• Candidates must be comfortable with a hands-on position balancing childcare and housekeeping

• Strong English communication skills (required)

Salary and Benefits

• Compensation depends on experience and starts around $35-$40 per hour plus standard benefits
