Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong clinical skills and the ability to handle emergencies.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient condition upon admission and continuously throughout their stay.
• Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood as needed.
• Provide patient education on health management and treatment plans.
• Document nursing care actions, patient observations, and responses accurately.
• Take on charge nurse and preceptor responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• 1+ year of critical care nursing experience is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.

Additional Information

• Up to 16 hours of orientation will be unpaid.
• The ability to reside outside a 50-mile radius is required.
• Shifts may be canceled up to 3 times during a 13-week contract.
