Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Kokomo, Indiana.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Labor and Delivery

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 48 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

LDRP Registered Nurse (PRN)

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12.5-hour night shift)

Clinical Requirements

• LDRP RN experience (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum)
• Ability to work in:
  • Labor & Delivery
  • OB Triage
  • Postpartum
  • Circulate during C-sections
• Experience caring for newborns in a Level II Nursery

Unit Experience

• Comfortable working in an LDRP unit
• Experience with:
  • 8 labor beds (triage performed in labor rooms)
  • 12 postpartum rooms
  • 4 special care nursery beds
  • 1 OB operating room

Certifications 

• Active RN license (or compact license if applicable)
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Fetal Monitoring certification (often AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced)
