Bighorn Plumbing is looking for motivated individuals who want to learn the plumbing trade and build a long-term career with a growing company.

You do not need to know everything about plumbing to get started. We are looking for people with the right attitude, strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn.

The right person will:

• Be comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, outdoors, and other typical plumbing environments
• Be physically capable of performing the normal duties of the trade

Working alongside experienced Bighorn plumbers, apprentices will have the opportunity to develop skills in areas such as:

• Residential plumbing service and repair
• Water heaters and tankless water heaters
• Drain and sewer systems
• Fixtures, faucets, toilets, and disposals
• Water and gas piping
• Leak diagnosis and repair
• Water pressure and plumbing system diagnostics
• Plumbing tools, materials, and equipment
• Customer communication
• Professional service-call procedures
• Safety and jobsite standards

As your skills, knowledge, and capabilities grow, so can your responsibilities and career opportunities.

Being an apprentice means learning while contributing .

You will be expected to arrive on time, stay engaged, take direction, help your technician, care for company equipment, and actively work toward becoming more capable and independent.

We aren't looking for someone who simply wants a job.

We're looking for someone who wants to learn a trade.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screening
• Strong communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of plumbing work
• Dependable attendance
• Willingness to learn and be coached

Previous construction, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, maintenance, automotive, mechanical, or other hands-on experience is a plus, but not required.
