Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Oncology/Women's Surgical unit located on the 9th floor
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 in collaboration with CNAs and unit staff
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
• Assist with or support procedures including thoracentesis and echocardiograms as needed
• Participate in weekend coverage, with staff expected to work 6 weekend days per schedule
• Float to other med-surgical units on a rare basis as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency with standard unit equipment and EMR systems (Cerner preferred)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy certification
• Prior experience in an oncology or women's surgical nursing setting
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
