EVANGEL UNIVERSITY Active - Staff full-time FT Staff 1111 N Glenstone, SPRINGFIELD, MO, US 14 days ago Requisition ID: 1866 JOB DESCRIPTION DEPARTMENT: Facilities CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Full-Time JOB SUMMARY: This position reports to the university’s HVAC supervisor and involves comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation of HVAC and mechanical equipment in all university buildings. The technician will also monitor, troubleshoot and repair control systems and provide customer training on the safe operation of HVAC equipment. Regular work hours 8am-4:30pm. Technician will respond to on-call/after-hours emergencies with flex-time provided. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years’ experience servicing and repairing commercial HVAC systems. Valid MO driver’s license Background check required Experience with VRF, DOAS, Boiler and Chiller systems preferred. Experience in HVAC controls and software systems preferred. Must be dependable, detail oriented, self-motivating, possess excellent customer service skills. Campus work truck and tools will be provided.
