The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring software quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves testing applications, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development and business teams to deliver high-quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Test software throughout the development lifecycle to ensure it meets requirements
- Perform functional, integration, performance, and regression testing
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test strategies
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Lead QA activities and support or guide junior QA team members when required
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance for enterprise applications
- Strong hands-on experience across the full software testing lifecycle
- 3+ years of experience leading QA activities, including automation strategy
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as:
- ALM Octane, Tricentis Tosca, SOAPUI, Postman
- NeoLoad, CodeScan, Veracode
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Recent hands-on experience with automated regression testing on complex systems
