As a Security Officer Tech Company Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a team that leads with integrity and care.

Pay Rate: $24.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries while following site protocols for access control and visitor management.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with crowd and lobby flow during busy periods, and helping to address workplace policy issues in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
