Job Title: Seasonal Quality Control (QC) Specialist
Employment Type: Seasonal/Temporary
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Start Date: Mid-October
Location: Gastonia, NC

Schedule: Associates can choose from one of the following rotating schedules:

Schedule A
Week 1: Sunday–Wednesday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Week 2: Sunday–Tuesday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM

Schedule B
Week 1: Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Week 2: Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Seasonal Quality Control (QC) Specialist to support a fast-paced warehouse operation. This position is responsible for helping ensure products and orders meet established quality and accuracy standards. The QC Specialist will inspect products, verify order accuracy, identify discrepancies, and assist with inventory-related activities. Previous inventory and/or quality control experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect products and completed orders for quality, condition, and accuracy

• Verify that correct products and quantities are being picked, packed, and prepared for shipment

• Identify damaged, incorrect, or nonconforming products and report discrepancies

• Perform quality checks throughout the order fulfillment process

• Assist with inventory verification and inventory accuracy

• Research and help resolve product or inventory discrepancies

• Maintain accurate records of quality checks and identified issues

• Communicate quality concerns to warehouse leadership

• Follow established quality, inventory, and safety procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Assist with other warehouse and inventory duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Previous quality control, inventory, warehouse, or order fulfillment experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to identify and communicate discrepancies

• Basic math and counting skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team

• Dependable attendance and ability to report to work as scheduled

• Ability to work the assigned rotating schedule, including weekends

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift

• Ability to frequently bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse

• Ability to perform repetitive inspection and inventory-related tasks

• Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment

• Ability to work in a physically active, fast-paced environment
