Thanks to the combined efforts of our management and employees, we take pride in acknowledging the fact that we are one of the leading providers of emergency medical services in Connecticut.Your Impact:Responds to instructions from emergency medical dispatchers and performs assignments in a timely mannerResponds to emergency and non-emergency calls calmly, efficiently, and promptly to administer necessary life support, either basic or acute to patients in accordance with State protocol while in a pre-hospital setting and during transport to the hospitalOperates emergency vehicles in accordance with regulations and company policyAssures proper stocking, re-stocking and maintenance of medical supplies and equipmentProvides accurate and timely written and typed communication on patient dispositionQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDValid CT Driver's LicenseValid State of Connecticut Paramedic License (experience preferred)Valid Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CPR certificationValid Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support certificationsWith locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
