CVOR Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures, including transplant and robotic surgeries. This role includes weekend call requirements and a rotation in the main operating room as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Support the surgical team by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Participate in weekend call as required, approximately one weekend every four weeks.
• Float within the facility and assist in other areas as needed, maintaining within the scope of practice.
• Adhere to all compliance and clinical guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team.
• Willingness to work major holidays as assigned.
• Must pass a clinical review to ensure fit for the role.
• Max of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment.

Work Schedule

The position is for day shifts, working 3 twelve-hour days from 06:30 to 19:00. Scheduling may vary based on departmental needs and cannot involve block scheduling.

Additional Information

All candidates must meet full compliance requirements to start on time. Orientation hours will vary based on assignment length. Locals will be accepted at the same rate.
