Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is excited to announce an opportunity for a patient-focused Medical Assistant to join a dynamic Internal Medicine practice in Greensboro, NC . This position offers an excellent chance for Medical Assistants who are eager to expand their clinical skills and gain exposure to diagnostic imaging, including DEXA scans and X-ray procedures. The role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced outpatient environment and enjoy working directly with patients.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and testing requirements.
• Support office operations to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Assist with DEXA scan and X-ray preparation and workflow.
• Learn imaging protocols, patient positioning, and diagnostic imaging processes under appropriate supervision.
• Cross-train to support imaging services while maintaining Medical Assistant responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a physician office, outpatient clinic, primary care, internal medicine, or specialty practice preferred.
• Strong patient service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Interest in learning DEXA, X-ray, and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday, First Shift.
• Flexible schedule: 24-40 hours per week depending on your availability.
• Competitive pay: $20-$22/hour, based on experience.
