Job Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, including prepping operative spaces, ensuring correct patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care involving medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focusing on surgical practices is highly favored

Necessary Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
