Materials Planner (Entry-Level)
Location: Austin, Texas
Pay Rate: $31–$35 per hour + additional 10% shift differential for swing shift
Shift: Swing Shift (8-hour)
Duration: 18-Month Contract
Environment: Manufacturing / Warehouse

What You’ll Do:
- Review and understand internal KPIs and how your work impacts operations
- Perform pre-shortage analysis to improve material availability
- Support research and data analysis to locate and expedite materials
- Execute inventory transactions in systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring usage and ordering parts
- Move and track materials within warehouse and production areas
- Replenish production line-side inventory as needed
- Investigate discrepancies, customer inquiries, and non-conformances
- Assist with production and import/export documentation
- Follow established processes and support continuous improvement


What You Bring:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow structured processes and direction
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment


Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
- Background in warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing operations


Work Environment:
- Standing/walking for extended periods
- Lifting, bending, reaching, and working in tight or fast-paced environments
- Exposure to noise and manufacturing conditions
- Required use of PPE (safety shoes, glasses, gloves, etc.)
