Job Details

• Location: Anchorage, Alaska
• Position: Operating Room (OR) Nurse
• Schedule: 3x12-hour days, shifts start between 6:45 AM and 9:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and ACLS; state licensure as an Alaska RN in hand; 2 years of OR experience. Pending licenses accepted but must be in hand for auto offer.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification, trauma level II experience, and additional specialized skills.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred), CNOR (preferred)
• Skills: Experience with a wide range of surgical procedures including but not limited to vascular, orthopedic, gynecological, and trauma surgeries; proficient in Epic charting system; familiarity with surgical robotic systems and sterile techniques.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; on-call responsibilities as per facility needs; weekend shifts required with willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have AK RN license in hand for auto offer; maximum assignment length is 13 weeks with a possible extension; must be willing to float within scope as needed; candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Submittal Notes: References covering 1 year required; immunization with Hep B vaccines only accepted; no local candidates accepted; travelers can only work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in this assignment.
