What You'll Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, managing diagnostic testing, and developing personalized care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, and chronic conditions, working in conjunction with physicians or as an independent practitioner
• Instructing patients and families on wellness, preventive measures, and chronic disease insight
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in line with your practice rights

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Idaho
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
