You'll have the opportunity to influence project strategy, contribute to business growth, mentor emerging professionals, and play a key role in shaping the future of our Ports & Maritime practice throughout Florida and the Southeast.What you'll doLead and deliver a variety of ports, maritime, waterfront, and coastal infrastructure projects throughout Florida and the Southeast.Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client expectations to ensure successful project outcomes.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Jacobs' regional and global network to develop innovative solutions for complex infrastructure challenges.Build and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.Support project pursuits, strategic growth initiatives, and business development activities within the Ports & Maritime market.Mentor and develop junior team members while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.Contribute to the delivery of projects that enhance port operations, strengthen coastal communities, and improve long-term resilience.Here's what you'll needBachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or related engineering fieldMinimum 7 years in consulting with at least 3 years of project or task management experienceExperience with the design and design management of waterfront project designStrong grasp of contract documents, technical specifications, and client deliverablesSubstantial experience in the preparation of technical and cost proposals to deliver winning proposalsGood communication skills and ability to interface with clients and stakeholders, both internal and externalProfessional Engineer (PE) license (Florida preferred) or PMP certificationIdeally, You'll Also Have10+ years of progressive experience managing complex ports, marine, waterfront, and maritime infrastructure projects, including oversight of multiple concurrent projects and multidisciplinary teamsDemonstrated experience serving as Project Manager or Project Director for complex maritime projects including container terminals, port expansions, wharves, bulkheads, piers, dredging, cargo facilities, waterfront redevelopment, navigation improvements, and intermodal infrastructureMaster's degree in engineering or relevant disciplineExperience with cost estimating and construction-phase servicesExisting client relationships with port authorities and/or other organizations involved in the development of waterfront or coastal resilience projects
