Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science required.
• Medical Technologist certification required (ASCP, NCA, AMT, or HEW).
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing high-complexity testing in a CLIA laboratory.
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS); familiarity with EPIC preferred.
• Working knowledge of blood bank procedures and testing.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a hospital-based blood bank environment.
• Prior experience with EPIC charting system.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated competency performing independent testing after orientation.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00 to 16:30.
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotations required.
• Position requires competency on applicable instruments and methods following orientation and training.
