Commercial Construction Project Manager Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $110,000 - $145,000 per year Job Details This is a long-term contract position expected to last 12 - 18 months, with the potential for extension and/or permanent employment based on project needs. The role offers a strong benefits package and company vehicle. Responsibilities Overseeing all aspects of construction project management, from planning to implementation. Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and forecasts. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to determine project specifications. Managing and coordinating the efforts of team members and third‑party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on‑time, within scope and within budget. Identifying project risks, developing risk mitigation plans, and managing project issues. Ensuring project legal documents are completed and signed. Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Reporting and escalating to management as needed. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management Previous experience leading K-12, Higher Education, and/or Public Sector Projects. Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, cost control, and project documentation. Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands‑on experience in construction and web technologies. Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proven ability to manage budgets and project financials. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to rapid change. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams.
