Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Location

Somerset, KY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit consisting of 6 LDRs, 5 outpatient rooms, 2 ORs, and 1 recovery room, following AWHONN patient ratio guidelines
• Utilize GE Centricity wireless fetal monitoring equipment and document care using Meditech/Centricity EHR
• Float to Postpartum/Mother-Baby unit as needed
• Assist with circulating or scrubbing in OR procedures as required
• Work 2 weekends per month as part of the expected schedule
• Adhere to required scrub color (OR seal blue); hoodies and sweatshirts are not permitted

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Kentucky
• BLS certification required prior to start
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required prior to start
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required prior to start
• Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Experience in a rural community hospital setting
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating or scrubbing in OR procedures
• Familiarity with GE Centricity wireless fetal monitoring systems
• Experience with Meditech EHR
