Headache Neurologist - Miami Neuroscience Institute

Headache Neurology Opportunity in Miami, Florida Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Headache Neurologist to join its well-established program at its Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The team, which includes over two dozen physicians across eight locations, perform over 1,500 surgeries each year, and offers more than 30 clinical research studies, includes experts in a wide range of specialties, including neurosurgery, nonsurgical spine care and pain management, neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology and neurology. Full-Time Opportunity Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), be fellowship-trained in Headache Medicine and certified by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS). Additional certification by the American Board of Headache Medicine welcomed but not required. Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing Ideal candidates will have in-depth knowledge in the management, diagnoses and treatment of complex headache and facial pain disorders, including performing interventional procedures, participating in interdisciplinary care and research. Academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), BHSF has been teaching residents at FAU since 2018, and most recently launched a 16-resident neurology program at FIU in 2025.
