Job Summary and Qualifications

· You will promote consistent and positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service.

· You will perform specimen collection while following the established policies and procedures of the Clinical Laboratory.

· You will instruct patients on proper specimen collection procedures.

· You will work efficiently and communicate effectively under stressful conditions and time constraints.

· You must maintain strict confidentiality of work-related information.

· You will practice good infection control by hand washing, wearing personal protective equipment, for the protection of patient and self while maintaining a neat, well-kept work area.

What qualifications you will need:

Phlebotomist Certification is Preferred

Prior (Hospital) Experience is Preferred
