Final And In-Process Inspector
Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, and internal defects. Uses various measuring devices. Accepts, rejects, malfunctioning units or systems. Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. This opportunity involves working closely with the Engineering and Manufacturing team to build prototypes, support New Product Integration (NPI) and productions builds.
Basic Qualification:
- Associates Technology Degree with 5 years of Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineering experience and/or 5 years of Aerospace/NASA Industry Quality inspection experience.
- Certification in the relevant workmanship standards, such as: IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620 w/space addendum, J-STD-001 w/space addendum, NASA-STD-8739.1, etc.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
