Work is performed in hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers using exercise, manual therapy, and evidence‑based treatment plans. Essential Work Functions Evaluate patients’ conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and history to identify functional limitations. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment and patient goals. Implement therapy techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate and maintain specialized equipment and modalities safely. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and others to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities. Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
