Part time HR Business Partner (Temporary) Compensation: $43.00 – $57.00/hour Responsibilities Onboarding & Logistics Manage the complete orientation lifecycle and complete all tax and legal paperwork for new hires. Run background checks and 7-panel drug screens, and set up comprehensive employee profiles in Paycor. Coordinate multi-department training schedules, equipment setups, and IT module workflows. Offboarding & Payroll Partnership Execute compliant termination procedures and handle all associated legal documentation and state filings. Manage ongoing unemployment matters with precision. Assist with weekly payroll tasks via Paycor, co-managing workflows with the Chief Global Operations Officer. Employee Relations & Compliance Act as the direct, discreet point of contact for daily employee inquiries regarding benefits and company policies. Handle disciplinary meetings, sensitive workplace investigations, and compliance issues with high discretion. Maintain accurate employee records and coordinate HRIS tracking with Microsoft Business Central 365. Candidate Profile & Requirements Experience: 6–8+ years of broad HR Generalist experience, with at least 3 years operating as a sole practitioner, Senior Manager, or HRBP. Industry Background: Prior experience in life sciences, clinical research, logistics, or a small-to-mid-sized operational corporate environment is highly preferred. Tech Savvy: Direct experience navigating Paycor (HRIS) or a highly comparable system, alongside Microsoft 365 and ERP tracking. Core Capabilities: Proven "Department of 1" capability with the ability to build order out of transition, research existing processes with minimal documentation, and run daily operations independently. #J-18808-Ljbffr
