Position Overview
WCS is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an inpatient acute care setting. Candidates must have at least 1.5 years of recent Med/Surg experience , with oncology experience strongly preferred. Hematology/Oncology, Telemetry, and Chemo/Biotherapy administration experience are highly desirable.
Schedule
- Day Shift (AM)
- 11.5-hour shifts
- 3 shifts per week (35 hours/week)
- 13 shifts per 28-day schedule
- 60-minute meal break included
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1.5 years of Med/Surg experience
- Oncology experience preferred
- Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Chemo/Biotherapy administration experience preferred
- BSN highly preferred
- OCN certification highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide care to hospitalized oncology patients
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
