Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary: Provide acute emergency care to a diverse patient population in a standalone emergency department setting. Deliver comprehensive nursing services, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes during high-acuity situations. Responsibilities: Assess patients’ conditions promptly and accurately upon arrival. Administer medications, treatments, and IVs in accordance with physician orders and protocols. Perform procedures such as 12-lead EKGs and patient assessments. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care. Document patient information, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR system accurately. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment adhering to unit policies and protocols. Qualifications: Valid RN license with current state licensure. Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency department RN experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Experience with Meditech EMR system preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
