As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Accomac, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. In this role, you will support badge and entry procedures while delivering strong customer service and communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will play an important part in daily operations.

Pay Rate: $18.56 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including exterior perimeters, gates, parking areas, and production-adjacent spaces, while observing for unusual activity and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
