In this role, you'll drive impactful infrastructure solutions, mentor high-performing teams, and build lasting client relationships across DOT and municipal programs.We're looking for a seasoned leader who thrives on delivering quality work, growing client partnerships, and influencing the future of transportation systems.Candidates should be based in or open to relocating to Mississippi or Tennessee.What You'll Be DoingLead the delivery of traffic engineering and transportation planning projects, including traffic operations analysis, signal design and timing, corridor studies, safety evaluations, and long-range planningServe as the primary client point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with DOTs, municipalities, and key stakeholdersDevelop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans to ensure successful project deliveryGuide and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and technical excellenceOversee project financial performance, including forecasting, billing, and accounts receivableEnsure quality assurance and control processes are followed and documentedSupport business development efforts, including proposal development and client engagementCollaborate with regional leadership to support strategic growth initiativesWhat You Need To HaveBachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited programProfessional Engineer (PE) license15–20+ years of experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planningProven experience managing complex projects, teams, and client relationshipsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency with Synchro, VISSIM, SIDRA, HCS, and OpenRoads DesignerStrong knowledge of traffic engineering and transportation planning principles and practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
