Job Details Position: NICU Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN Location: San Antonio, TX 78258 Start Date: 08/26/2026 End Date: 11/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Hours per Week: 36 Schedule: 4 weekend shifts per schedule On-Call: No mandatory on-call shifts Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 Unit Setting: Level III NICU Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU nursing experience required Prior Level III NICU experience required Current BLS certification required Current NRP certification required Experience with BCPAP , HFNC , and nasal cannula management Proficiency with peripheral IV insertion and management Ability to care for feeder/grower patients Helpful, team-player attitude with strong collaboration and communication skills Responsibilities Provide skilled neonatal nursing care to infants in a busy Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in clinical status Support ventilator-related care and assist with advanced neonatal therapies as needed Perform or assist with procedures such as PICC placement , UVC/UAC placement , intubation, lumbar punctures, EKGs, eye exams, lab draws, arterial blood draws, IV placement, and heel sticks Assist with deliveries and provide support in Mother/Baby , Labor & Delivery , and Nursery areas when floated for baby care or transition support Deliver compassionate, family-centered care while maintaining safety, quality, and patient outcomes Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal neonatal care Why Consider This NICU RN Travel Opportunity?
