A welcoming Georgetown family is looking to hire a proactive, engaging, and dependable Hybrid Nanny/Family Assistant to support a stay-at-home mom and her 3-year-old daughter. Their daughter currently attends part-time preschool and will need to be picked up at 12:30 PM, so the ideal candidate should be a safe and confident driver. The family is looking for someone active, animated, and fun who has a genuine love of learning and teaching young children and enjoys reading, arts and crafts, imaginative play, and creating engaging age-appropriate activities. In addition to childcare, the Family Assistant will help with laundry, organizing, and general household support, with the ability to notice what needs to be done and take initiative without constant direction. The family also has a dog, so someone who truly enjoys pets and is comfortable helping with dog walking, trips to the groomer, and occasional pet care is important. This is a wonderful opportunity for a thoughtful self-starter who enjoys a true hybrid role and is excited to become a trusted part of a family’s home.
Qualifications
⭐️ At least 3 years of professional nannying or family assistant/management experience
⭐️ Must be legal to work in the US
⭐️ Local to the DC-metro area (DC, MD, VA)
⭐️ Excellent communication and organizational skills
⭐️ Licensed driver with a clean driving record & car to get to work
⭐️ Must be comfortable around dogs
