Team Overview
Technical Platform Management turns business strategy into technical outcomes by partnering across Solutions, Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, Security, and Operations. The Credit Risk TPM team leads a complex portfolio that includes core credit, alternative data, analytics enablement, and modernization of U.S. credit capabilities onto the OneTru platform. This role reports to the SVP, Global Technical Product Management. This leader will bring structure, technical product and program discipline, and collaborative leadership to a team with varied levels of maturity.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year Credit Risk technical product and program roadmap, translating business priorities into a sequenced plan across Core Credit, Alternative Data, Analytics Enablement, and platform modernization.
• Lead U.S. Credit modernization across Online, Batch, Triggers, and Data Acquisition, including migration planning, legacy decommissioning, operational readiness, and customer-impact mitigation.
• Define and prioritize technical and functional requirements for credit reports, scores and attributes, triggers, batch fulfillment, FactorTrust, TruIQ, and related analytics capabilities.
• Connect initiatives to measurable outcomes such as revenue growth, adoption, time-to-value, reliability, scalability, cost efficiency, and successful customer migration.
• Establish disciplined planning and delivery governance across multiple squads, including dependency mapping, risk and issue management, clear accountability, and consistent definitions of ready and done.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, Solutions, Operations, Security, Legal, and Compliance to deliver scalable capabilities with governance, security, and regulatory considerations built into the design.
• Maintain platform reliability and operational readiness through service-level objectives, hypercare, incident response partnership, post-launch stabilization, and continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop technical product and program managers while remaining close enough to the details to build operating structure and solve complex delivery problems.
• Represent Credit Risk in senior leadership and portfolio forums, using metrics to drive decisions, clarify trade-offs, align investment, and communicate progress.

Required Knowledge and Experiences

• 10+ years of progressive experience across product management, technical program management, technical pre-sales, customer-facing data or analytics, or related technology leadership, including experience leading teams and enterprise-scale delivery.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-year platform modernization or migration programs across multiple teams, dependencies, and stakeholders.
• Financial services experience and knowledge of regulated data environments; direct credit bureau or credit scoring experience is helpful but not required.
• Proven ability to convert business strategy into prioritized roadmaps, bring structure to ambiguity, use metrics to drive decisions, and lead effectively in a collaborative matrix organization.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical, or business discipline, or equivalent relevant experience; advanced degree preferred.

Required Technical Skills

• Fluency in distributed systems, cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or Amazon Web Services (AWS), application programming interfaces (APIs), data pipelines, and batch and real-time fulfillment.
• Working knowledge of data analytics, machine learning (ML), applied artificial intelligence (AI), and statistical modeling as they relate to data and credit risk products.
• Experience with agile product and program delivery practices, including planning increments, dependency management, delivery metrics, service-level objectives, operational readiness, and risk management.
• Understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and regulated product development, including familiarity with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or comparable regulatory frameworks.

Pay Scale Information:

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $187,500.00 - $312,500 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
