Travel Physical Therapist - $1,971 per week

Job Overview Travel Physical Therapist position in Melrose, Massachusetts. Start date: 05/25/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 40 hours per week on 8‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including determination of medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions. Establish and administer individualized treatment programs with specific goals based on the patient’s capacity and tolerance under Physician direction. Set realistic, achievable goals; document and record patient condition; educate patients and families on appropriate PT methods. Develop plan of care for each patient and provide skilled PT services/interventions per physician orders. Assess patient needs; plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient. Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE). Graduated from an accredited physical therapy program. Minimum one year of clinical experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (or actively in process of obtaining licensure). Current CPR certification.
