Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel About the unit: PCU Number of Beds – 15 beds Number of Staff – 22 (RN/PCT) Type of staff: o Day Shift – 3-4RN, 2 PCT, 1 Clinical Coordinator o Night Shift – 3-4 RN 1 PCT Patient Ratios – 4-5/1 Type of equipment – Cardiac Telemetry, Chest tubes, Cardiac drips(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), Post Cath Patients, post-surgical patients to include open heart, lung patients, general surgery patients, post op orthopedic patients that require cardiac monitoring.
