For more information about Draper, visit Description Summary:**The Configuration Analyst assists configuration analysts in managing and controlling configuration items (CI’s), ensuring the integrity and traceability of product configurations throughout the lifecycle of a project. This role is an entry level position in configuration management.**Job Description:****Duties/Responsibilities*** Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of CM processes and procedures in alignment with industry standards and company requirements.* Participate in both configuration control board (CCB) and Design Review Board (DRB) meetings and provide configuration management input as needed.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and program management, to ensure CM processes support and align with program requirements.* Assist in generation and distribution of CM reports and metrics providing visibility into the configuration status of changes objects.* Support Senior CM team member with the preparation and execution of configuration audits and reviews.* Assist in the resolution of configuration related issues and discrepancies.* Assist with the release process to ensure accuracy and completeness of change objects.* Assist with preparation of monthly deliveries of revised work products.* Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommended solutions.**Skills/Abilities*** Basic understanding of CM principles, practices, and standards* Familiarity with military/commercial CM and documentation-related specifications and standards (such as ANSI/EIA-649, ASME/Y14, MIL-STD-31000, MIL-STD-961, etc.)* Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management requirements* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)* Familiarity with configuration management tools such as PLM databases.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Good interpersonal skills to communicate clearly**Education*** Requires a minimum of a associate degree in engineering or related field, a bachelor's degree is preferred.* Equivalent work experience in Configuration Management, or a related field may be considered.**Experience**3 to 5 years of experience in Configuration Management or related discipline is required.**Additional Job Description:**## **Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.**Connect With Draper for Future Opportunities!
