Current EMT-Paramedic certification in the State of Iowa and current ACLS provider and BCLS provider certifications. As a mandatory reporter, maintain approved training on child and dependent adult abuse reporting requirements. Valid driver's license and insurable under county liability coverage. Other Duties May Be Required And Assigned.Assist Mobile Crisis with intake process, assessing vital signs and basic medical assessment as needed.Provide prompt evaluation and treatment for individuals presenting with acute symptoms or distress.Follow GuideLink Center protocol to determine if a patient is medically stable to remain at GuideLink Center.Provide a safe, medically supervised space for individuals withdrawing from alcohol or other substances.Assist with fluid/medication administration in the detoxification process.Assist with JCAS assigned duties when available.Respond to request for service and/or calls for service as directed.Perform duties of an EMT-Paramedic as defined in service protocols approved by the medical director.Complete and submit patient care report, billing sheet and other related documentation.Contribute to training of new employees to maintain a high standard of care.Participate in training/professional development activities and work related meetings as requested.Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with approved policies, procedures, safety practices and the collective bargaining agreement.Transports patients to their respective destination.Attend work regularly at the designated place and time.Supplemental DescriptionFLSA Status: Non-ExemptPay Grade: 6 (Ambulance Scale)Resume and cover letter must be attached to online applicationCompensation Grade Gr-AM-Paramedic
