Engineering Technician

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Engineering Technician for a prominent client. This position is located in New Berlin, WI . Job Description Pay is $41.10/hr to start!! 1 year assignment with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and budget. Monday – Friday (100% Onsite) Support design engineers with development activities, including component evaluation, prototype assembly, and product verification testing. Execute product and prototype testing in accordance with approved test specifications, standards, and procedures; analyze results to confirm compliance with performance requirements. Prepare, review, and maintain accurate and complete test reports, data records, and documentation. Perform safety and EMC certification testing in accordance with UL, CSA, and IEC standards and generate formal reports for submission to third‑party certification agencies. Qualifications HS Diploma/ GED is required!! (A.S. degree preferred!) Hands‑on experience in variable frequency drive (VFD) design and operation. Hands‑on experience performing UL, CSA, and IEC compliance testing, particularly for drive (VFD) products preferred. Proficiency in operating laboratory test equipment to obtain accurate measurements and interpret results effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
