Frontend-Focused Full Stack Developer

Focused on creating high-quality web solutions, the full-time remote Frontend-Focused Full Stack Developer will build custom WordPress themes and Gutenberg blocks, translate design mockups into responsive code, and troubleshoot CMS issues while collaborating with design and consulting teams. Key responsibilities Build custom WordPress themes, Gutenberg blocks, and plugins from provided designs Translate mockups into responsive, accessible frontend code using HTML, CSS/SASS, and modern JavaScript Diagnose and fix frontend and backend issues across various CMS platforms Required qualifications 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with strong HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript fundamentals 3+ years of experience building and customizing WordPress sites, including Gutenberg block development Solid working knowledge of PHP (7.x/8.x) for reading, debugging, and extending WordPress/Drupal codebases Practical experience with Drupal theming, content architecture, or module-level work Familiarity with WordPress hooks/filters and general LAMP-stack conventions (MySQL, Git) Virtual Vocations Inc
